I thought the film was really good, it was a typical 80's American film. When reading through websites about the film it got described as an Alice in Wonderland style plot. Through out the film I also noted my thoughts about the film and what stood out and would be essential to use in the photo shoot.
Gold bracelets and necklaces.
Laced gloves.
Crop tops.
Leggings.
Fishnet tights.
Bows in the hair.
The typical blazer with the pyramid on the back.
Very atmospheric.
Dark.
Cold.
Mysterious.
Blacks.
Golds.
I think that a shoot in the studio would be a good idea as we don't have any issues of then searching for locations and also weather problems. We could create a dark mood within the studio though, using the lighting appropriately. We would have to use a lot of props though, so the images didn't appear as boring as a studio can be very bland.

I agree with the idea of using the studio, as I don't think we would be able to find a location which would represent the film well. Especially if we are going to go with the 'Magic Club' theme, At least in the studio like you said we can use the lighting to create the correct mood etc. We can also decide the way we want the photoshoot to look and amend things if we were to use the studio.
