Laura and I have been to speak to Louise as we were concerned about the project. We asked if we were doing it wrong, and no we weren't as the research into the film is relavant. However we now need to move away from the film so it appears more editorial. Laura and I have researched into trends on WGSN , and Louise liked that idea of the punk, grunge look. So we have decided to take out the housewife idea and just do the obvious look and the magician but make them similar. To create alterations we can do this through props. In the group discussion yesterday I also mentioned the use of a projector, which could also be used for alteration instead of the styling. If you look at the location image which was posted on the WGSN blog, then I thought we could use something similar to this. I will get researching more into backgrounds which could possibly be used and then we could get some assotate and project them. Another idea was to use pink gel, so we could be this over a light, so then it tints part of the image. I hope this is useful to you all. We are still all bringing in the clothing tomorrow as I think the items we chose on wednesday are approapiate. We could just make them more edgy with denim, graffiti and studds, things like that. If anyone has any more problems then they need to be discussed as a group otherwise your opinion wont get heard and it then makes it difficult for the group to understand your view. This is extremely important as the shoot in on Monday and we are meant to be working as a team.
