This is a collection by a close family friend Lucy Howarth, the collection is called 'Punk Dandy'. The photographs were also taken by my friend, Danny Harrison, which were shot in the upstairs of an old wool factory. As we are looking at different 'Grungy' locations as ideas for the backdrop for our shoot, I thought these photographs were of a similar style and might give a bit of inspiration.
I particularly like how they chose to use the upstairs of a factory as a location for this shoot, and how they kept the mess on the floor and didn't change the way anything looked around the room. This gave a more punk look to the shoot, which links in well with the style of the clothing collection. I also like how this looks like it has been abandoned for years, and how it has been vandalized with the graffiti on the walls. I think this is something which we should consider doing, making sure that the background links in with our styling that way the shoot will flow better.
As well as looking at the location I also like the styling of the outfit, with the ripped leggings and the idea of using two different coloured dot martin shoes.
